OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Please meet our Board of Directors:

Raphael Sbarge, Founder.

Raphael Sbarge is an actor, writer, teacher and producer but most importantly a father to two small children, who inspired him to do something, however small, to make a difference to the world they will inherit.

As an actor he began at the age of four on Sesame Street, but grew up back stage in costume shops or in rehersal rooms with parents also in the business.  He has extensive Broadway, off Broadway and region theater credits, but is known for work in films like Risky Business, My Science Projet, Independence Day, Pearl Harbor, over 30 in all.  On television he has appeared on many, many shows including 3 seasons of The Guaridan, TV movies such as Billionaire Boys Club, Introducing Dorthy Dandridge, A Street Car Named Desire, among others.

Raphael is extremely gratified to be introducing the Green Wish™ program along with so many other extraordinary people.

Ed Begley, Jr., Environmentalist and Eco-Obsessed Actor

When it comes to taking personal responsibility for the environment, few individuals can match the record of actor and activist Ed Begley, Jr. Known for turning up at Hollywood events on his bicycle, he has served as chairman of the Environmental Media Association and the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy.  He serves on the boards of organizations including the Thoreau Institute, the Earth Communications Office, Tree People and Friends of the Earth.  His work has earned awards from numerous environmental groups including the California League of Conservation Voters, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Coalition for Clean Air, Heal the Bay, the Santa Monica Baykeeper and the Southern California Gas Company.  Currently, he is the co-star of the hit Planet Green series Living with Ed, a look at the day-to-day realities of “living green” with his not so environmentalist wife Rachelle Carson.  The series has currently just finished airing its 2nd season.  His first book, Living Like Ed, hit the streets nationally in February 2008, and the second book, Ed Begley's Guide to Sustainable Living came out in August of 2009.
